Washington Apple Commission

The primary purpose of the Commission is advertising, promotion, education and market development for the Washington fresh apple crop. Currently no promotions are being implemented in the US, but are implemented in more than 30 countries overseas where Washington apples are sold.

Washington State Fruit Commission

The Washington State Fruit Commission was founded in 1947 as a nonprofit organization funded by grower assessments for the purpose of promotion, market development, research, and education of soft fruits grown in Washington State.

Pear Bureau Northwest

Today, the United States is the third largest pear producing country in the world, and more than 55 countries look to the U.S. for sweet and juicy fresh pears. The orchards of Oregon and Washington in particular allow heirloom varieties of pears to flourish to perfection in their pastoral terrain, with 84% of the country's fresh pears being grown in these two Pacific Northwest states.

USDA-ARS Tree Fruit Research Laboratory

The USDA-ARS Tree Fruit Research Laboratory was the first fruit research laboratory to be established in the heart of the apple producing country of North America. Their mission is to solve problems facing the U.S. tree fruit industry by conducting basic and applied research that is regional, national and international in scope which will ensure the long-term competitiveness of our fruit industry in domestic and international markets, and to do so in an environmentally responsible manner.

WSU Tree Fruit Research and Extension Center

The primary mission of this Center is to conduct research programs and transfer information and technology to continue to strengthen Washington State's fruit production, fruit quality and national and international competitive position.

Washington Apple Educational Foundation

The Washington Apple Education Foundation fosters educational opportunities, encourages academic excellence and promotes awareness of the values of Washington’s tree fruit industry.

Washington State Apple Blossom Festival

The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival Association is a Washington non-profit corporation. Formerly, it was a semi-autonomous division of the Wenatchee Chamber of Commerce, and is now an independent organization. It is the oldest major festival in the state of Washington.
